The Challenge
Prayer Chain approached us with an ambitious vision: a single app that would unify prayer tracking, fellowship groups, and community engagement for a broad congregation. The challenge was designing something comprehensive enough to be genuinely useful — while remaining simple enough for first-time users.
Our Approach
We began with user interviews across different levels of church engagement, distilling key motivations and friction points into design principles that would guide every decision.
We built out information architecture, rapid prototypes, and tested distinct interaction models before converging on the final approach — a card-based dashboard that surfaces personalised prayer streaks and group activity without overwhelming.
The Result
A polished, intuitive product that tested well with first-time users and gave the community a single, welcoming home for prayer and fellowship — comprehensive without ever feeling complicated.
